Veneers are thin, custom-crafted shells that cover the facial surface of the teeth. Done well, they correct shape, color and symmetry while still reading as natural teeth. They demand close collaboration between the practice and the lab.
What helps us get veneers right
- Full-face and retracted photos, plus a smile photo at rest
- The approved wax-up or mock-up, if one was done
- Stump shades for any discolored preparations
- Notes on the patient’s goals: brighter, more natural, specific shape changes
- A provisional model or scan when the patient has approved the provisionals
Shade and character
Veneer cases are where custom shading pays off most. We can consult on shade at our lab or in your office so the final result fits the patient’s face, not just a shade tab.
